This is what Ms. Faso's comments:
It is a pleasure teaching Jaden again this year. He is reading at a DRA level 30, which is beginning third grade level. Jaden has great reading fluency and comprehension, but needs extra time to process the information read in order to be able to answer comprehension questions, expecially reflection and interpretation questions. Jaden is writing at grade level and scored a 3 ( second grade level)on his Personal Narrative: Small Moment assessment. He writes with good structure and language conventions ( spelling, capitalization, and punctuation), and Jaden will continue to strengthen his writing development ( elaboration and details). Jaden has strong math skills and is abe to tell time to the closest quarter hour, add/subtract to 100 without regrouping, identify attributes of solid geometric solid shapes, and has good number sense. Jaden will continue to work on counting coins and learn various stragegies for solving addition/ subtration problems. Jaden has integrity, gets along well with his peers, and has good classroom and playground behavior.
Praise God... both of the them are doing great in school!! Pray for wisdom and set apart.... stand firm for JESUS!!
Jaden's Biography is closer to the end.... so glad.... we should able to finish by Sat and start working on his presentation!!
